about the podcast

Red paint stroke across black background with white text that says 'MADE IN THE USA'.

Eight years and over 100 episodes of real talk about work.

We launched the HR unConfidential podcast in 2018 to create a space where actual HR practitioners could talk openly about the workplace, and give an inside view of how to navigate it. We go deep on the topics most people avoid: the difference between surface-level fixes and real change, what actually gets in the way of business success and a good employee experience, and how the role of HR and other leaders keeps shifting.

Most episodes feature thoughtful, candid business leaders, authors, and workplace experts who share what it takes to build workplaces that work, now and for what’s next.

Whether you’re an HR professional, a business leader, an employee, or simply someone who cares about naming and disrupting the unhealthy patterns of work, listen wherever you get your podcasts.
